We set the tone for the day and enjoy songs/poems/movement/concepts of time/weather observations/daily reminders of expectations and responsibilities/introduction for theme or objective of the day. We may also read aloud or practice Wilson Language Fundations
Children choose centers that are set up throughout the classroom that align with the theme or objectives of the day. Teachers observe, role play, provoke questioning skills and provide conversation while children are engaged in play. Small groups can be initiated at this time, allowing for specific differentiated instruction (usually ELA or Math).

Children reflect on the day, sing goodbye songs and independently pack up their bookbags. Pickup from 1:45 to 2:00 PM. (After care available.)
